Glass fiber reinforced material

发布时间:2024-03-21 22:07浏览次数:times

Glass is extremely hydrophilic and can adsorb water onto the interface, leading to a weakening of the bonding force between glass fiber and resin. Silane coupling agent is one of the key components of glass fiber reinforced polymers, which can improve the bonding performance between glass fiber and resin, greatly enhancing the strength, electrical, water resistance, climate resistance and other properties of glass fiber reinforced composites. Even in the wet state, it has a significant effect on improving the mechanical properties of composite materials. At present, the use of silane coupling agents in glass fibers is quite common, with silane coupling agents used in this area accounting for more than 60% of its total consumption. Based on the different chemical structures of film-forming resins, the commonly used types of coupling agents for glass fibers are epoxy silane, amino silane, methacryloxy and other silane with reaction functional groups. It is recommended to prioritize the use of CY-560, CY-550, CY-570, etc.

Glass fiber surface treatment agents often contain: film-forming agents, anti-static agents, surfactants, coupling agents, and water. The dosage of coupling agent is generally 0.3% -2% of the total amount of glass fiber surface treatment agent. First, adjust the pH value of water to a certain value with organic acid (amino silane is alkaline after hydrolysis and can catalyze hydrolysis, so there is no need to adjust the acid). After sufficient stirring, add an appropriate amount of silane and stir until it becomes transparent. Then, add other components. For insoluble silane, an appropriate amount of solvents such as ethanol, isopropanol, etc. can be used as a solubilizing agent. It should be noted that the stability of silane aqueous solution depends on the type and concentration of the coupling agent. Hydrolysis occurs first during preparation, and a part of the silicon hydroxyl group will automatically condense to form silicon oxysilicon chemical bonds. Therefore, it is generally recommended to use it in a timely manner after preparing an aqueous solution and not for a long time. Save.
